Written by Leo Schwartz and DC Cathro,"Till"tells the story of 14-year-old Emmett Till and the events leading up to his death in 1955, which helped galvanize the civil rights movement."Till"made its world premiere in July 2019 at the New York Musical Festival, whereThe New York Timesreviewer praised it as by far the best of four shows I saw at this years festival, and TheaterMania called it a beautiful tribute to Emmett and his mother, Mamie Till.ATG's production is directed by award-winning director Cezar Williams, with choreography by Tiffany Rea-Fisher.
