The Cake is a comedic and poignant play by Bekah Brunstetter that explores the conflict faced by Della, a conservative baker from North Carolina, when asked to create a cake for the wedding of Jen, the daughter of her late best friend. As Della grapples with her beliefs, her marriage, and her love for Jen, audiences will witness a touching story inspired by real events. Directed by Carol Fisher, the cast features Della, a quirky woman in her 50s, her deeply religious husband Tim, and the conflicted Jen with her outspoken fiancée Macy.
