Dragonfly Multicultural Arts Center will present its first Festival of One Act Plays on Friday, November 22 at 8:00 p.m.; Saturday, November 23 at 8:00 p.m.; and Sunday, November 24 at 3:00 p.m. at duCret School of Art in Plainfield. A reception and talk-back will take place after the performance on Friday, November 22. Tickets cost $20 if purchased in advance from the Dragonfly website and $25 if purchased at the door. The One Act Festival features original short plays written by local playwrights, including Lawrence Paone, Steven Patrick, and C.E. LaMoreaux of Metuchen.
