A one-man show, written and performed by writer/actor/comic/singer/dancer/historian Michael Takiff, that looks at the ways we live with our ancient traditions in the modern age. Jews, God, and History is as funny as it is thought-provoking, featuring a variety of forms of both comedy (including sketch, character, stand-up, impressions) and drama (discourse, rant, and memoir). It is about Jews, but not only about Jews. It examines the big questions asked by all people: about God and faith, tribe and nation. It pulls no punches, challenging audience members to question their assumptions about issues like God, the Holocaust, and the place of a religious minority in the United States of America. The first 18 tickets will be sold to audience members, all masked and socially distanced. And then tickets will be sold to those who would like to see show remotely via Zoom.
