Nashville Ballet Announces New Executive Director & Director Of Sales And Marketing

Nashville Ballet proudly announces the addition of Angie Adams as Executive Director and Jim Johnson as the Director of Sales and Marketing, effective Monday, August 30, 2010. Adams comes from Big Brother Big Sister in Austin, Texas. A Nashville native, her introduction to the non-profit world began as an intern at Nashville Ballet. In Nashville, Adams was previously the Finance Director with the Sexual Assault Center, served as the COO/CFO for five years at Cheekwood and now comes full circle to Nashville Ballet. Angie expressed her thoughts, "I am incredibly thrilled to have the opportunity not only to return to the city I think of as home, but also to return to take the job of my dreams. To finally blend my professional skills with my passion for dance and the Nashville community, truly is a dream come true!"

Jim Johnson, a Flint, Michigan native, has been in Nashville for the last five years. He was previously with Manheim Nashville as a Graphics and Sales & Marketing professional. He freelanced as a professional photographer for many years and was awarded St. Jude Children's Research Hospital "Volunteer of the Year" for his charitable work. Jim will spearhead all marketing initiatives for the organization.

Bianca Lambert joined the Ballet from the High Museum in Atlanta, GA last Monday, August 23, 2010. She earned her B.S. in Mass Communication at Middle Tennessee State University in 2009. She comes to the Ballet from the High Museum in Atlanta, GA., and is excited to be back in the Nashville area. Lambert will be responsible for season subscriptions and group sales efforts.

Paul Vasterling states, "As Nashville Ballet celebrates a banner year of growth this 25th Anniversary Season, it is gratifying to have such talented staff join the organization to continue our future growth at Nashville Ballet. Angie Adams brings over 20 years of non-profit experience to our team, along with a passion and deep knowledge of our art form. Jim Johnson brings a new energy and level of expertise to the marketing department and the addition of Bianca Lambert as our Audience Development Associate ensures that our subscribers and supporters will continue to enjoy the high level of personal service the Ballet is known for."
