Palm Beach Dramaworks Launches 2012-13 Season with TALLEY'S FOLLY, 10/12

Lanford Wilson's romantic comedy, Talley's Folly, will launch Palm Beach Dramaworks' 2012-13 season on Friday, October 12 (8PM) at the Don & Ann Brown Theatre (201 Clematis Street). The production will play a strictly limited engagement through November 11, with specially priced preview performances slated for October 10 and 11.

Now celebrating its seventh season, the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami-Dade County will present the anticipated return of the energetic musical phenomenon, DRUMLINE LIVE, along with Columbia Artist Management LLC. Inspired by the blockbuster film, Drumline starring Nick Cannon, DRUMLINE LIVE will high-step into Miami for one day only on November 11, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., filling the John S. and James L. Knight Concert Hall with original compositions and soul-infused interpretations of top 40 hits.

The Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami-Dade County proudly presents the esteemed BALLET AUSTIN performing LIGHT / THE HOLOCAUST & HUMANITY PROJECT , a riveting contemporary ballet created by Artistic Director Stephen Mills that turns the spotlight on discrimination and the ultimate triumph of the human spirit. The performance, which inspired a community-wide human rights initiative by the same name, will take place in the Ziff Ballet Opera House on November 3 and 4, 2012.

Gulfshore Playhouse Adds Two Partnerships with Pay-What-You-Can Previews Benefiting Two Local Charities

Gulfshore Playhouse will present two Pay-What-You-Can preview performances for their "Reza in Rep" productions on October 16 & 17. These Pay-What-You-Can previews will provide opportunities for all members of the community to see two Tony Award-winning plays at a professional regional theatre. Half of the proceeds from each performance will benefit two local charities. Both previews will take place at 8 p.m.
