Evolutionary Artists presents Seascape with Sharks and Dancer, A Play by Don Nigro. Opening June 2, 2016 at 8pm at The Ventura Court Theater. Located at 12417 Ventura Ct. Studio City, CA. 91604 The play will run from June 2nd - June 12th.
The play is set in a beach bungalow. The young man who lives there has pulled a lost young woman from the ocean. Soon, she finds herself trapped in his life and between her need to come to rest somewhere and her certainty that all human relationships turn eventually into nightmares. The struggle between his tolerant and gently ironic approach to life and her strategy of suspicion and attack becomes a kind of war about love and creation which neither can afford to lose.
Produced by Evolutionary Artists, the play is directed by Alice Carter, and stars London Thor and Adam Lopez.
Don Nigro is an American Playwright, his plays Anima Mundi and The Dark Sonnets of the Lady have both been nominated for the National Repertory Theatre. Nigro has written more than 400 plays, 187 which have been published by Samuel French in 54 volumes. One of these, Ravenscroft, was adapted into the film The Manor, with Peter O'Toole.
