Playwright Pamela Gilbreath Kelly brings to the stage an exhausted William Shakespeare retires from The Globe Theatre in London and returns to his hometown of Stratford to rest on his laurels and die; but instead, confronts the ghosts of his past. As he comes to terms with the betrayals, losses and dangers of his youth, the source of his genius is revealed to us.
