The Orinda Starlight Village Players present The Bay Area Premiere of THE MURDER OF ROGER ACKROYD by Agatha Christie - Adapted for the Stage by Mark Shanahan Directed and Designed by Matt Cardigan-Smith One of Agatha Christie's best mysteries, written 100 years ago, The Murder of Roger Ackroyd has many twists and turns and is full of rich characters. It is 1926 in a small English Village and the most prominent man in town is found murdered. Rumors quickly begin to circulate and the local police are overwhelmed. But it just so happens that the villages newest resident is the world famous detective - Hercue Poirot and he sets out to solve the case and discover the truth.
