As artists, we must create! Despite the pandemic and even with the obstacle of not being in the same physical space, the fundamentals of acting can be honed in an online format. Beginning Scene and Solo Work will give beginning to intermediate actors the opportunity to develop an effective technique for bringing a character into existence in a safe and supportive environment. Students will explore solo and partner scene work and delve into character analyst and development. Classes will encourage actors to find truth, authentic individuality, and reality all to create a solid acting foundation on which the actor can build. Previous acting training or experience is helpful but is not a prerequisite for taking this class. However, a free zoom account is necessary, and basic knowledge of the platform is valuable.
