Annie and the Caldwells are a family band from West Point, Mississippi led by Ms. Annie Caldwell, playing a powerful strain of disco soul with vocals backed by daughters Deborah and Anjessica and goddaughter Toni Rivers, alongside Willie Jr. on bass, Abel Aquirius on drums, and Willie Joe Caldwell Sr. on guitar. The Campbell Brothers, led by brothers Chuck and Phil Campbell, bridge the sacred and secular through the sacred steel tradition rooted in African American gospel music, fusing faith, blues, funk, and rock. The evening concludes the twenty-ninth season of Sunset Concerts and also features DJ sets by Sonrisita.
