“The Nameless is the album that undisputedly confirms Davey as world-class” – The Dubliner

The outrageously talented Cathy Davey announces her welcome-return to the Dublin stage for the first time in 18 months with a spectacular three night residency in Whelan’s on successive Thursdays in Feb starting on the 2nd

Each show will be unique in format, the first a full band show featuring music from her three critically lauded albums to date, the second a reprise of her Dublin Fringe Festival award winning show Songs That Scare Children, and Heroes, the final show, will feature Cathy singing the songs of her most beloved artists from the 40’s, 50’s and 60’s such as Marlene Dietrich, Julie London and Jane Russell.

Cathy recently recorded a sumptuous and seasonalised version of the delightful ‘Bad Weather’ from the No1 selling album The Nameless, recorded live in St Mary of the Angels Church , Dublin with the Dublin Gospel Choir. Check it out HERE

Feb 9th – Songs That Scare Children : Cathy and special guests perform a reprise of her Dublin Fringe Festival award winning show . Here’s what Cathy herself had to say about this show

“Since my first nightmare I’ve been hooked. The giddy terror of a spooky lullaby that only a child can fully appreciate.” This very special show is dedicated to all the eerily mystifying music of our childhoods that shaped our imaginations – from songs by Gilbert & Sullivan and Gershwin to songs from The Night of the Hunter, South Pacific and Hans Christian Andersen.”

Feb 16th – Heroes: Cathy sings the songs of her most treasured artists
