Coldplay has announced their highly anticipated return to Asia and Australia with special stadium shows in November 2023 as part of their record-breaking Music Of The Spheres World Tour. The announcement also marks the band's first-ever performance in Jakarta, scheduled for November 15th at Gelora Bung Karno Stadium.

After three years of hiatus due to the pandemic, Jakarta Players Community Theatre is thrilled to present Gruesome Playground Injuries by Rajiv Joseph. Over the course of 30 years, the lives of two person intersect at the most bizarre intervals, leading these childhood friends to compare scars and the physical calamities that keep drawing them together. Gruesome Playground Injuries will be performed four times over the course of three days.

After an audition process followed by additional workshops at Teater Ismail Marzuki, the five Camp Broadway Indonesia students chosen to be delegates are ready to embark later this month. They will represent Indonesia at The New York Pops Orchestra's 40th Anniversary Gala alongside Broadway and international performers. The concert will take place at the prestigious Carnegie Hall, New York City, and will celebrate the life and career of American music icon Barry Manilow.

Hi Jakarta Production will present Open Class: Hi Superstar, in May and June of this year. This is a Musical Theatre Intensive Training. The class combines play, singing, acting and dancing through positive imaginative class experiences. Stimulate young performers to grow and develop confidence in singing, acting and dancing while strengthen their skills and having fun! 

What did our critic think of KANDITA at CIPUTRA GALLERY?

Be enchanted by a traditional Devdan show during a performance at the Nusa Dua theatre in Kuta. Throughout the show, agile acrobats and talented dancers portray the story of two young children witnessing the magic of Indonesian culture.

KEN DEDES is an original musical by EKI DANCE COMPANY and CIPUTRA ARTPRENEUR, loosely based on a well-known legend surrounding the founding of the medieval kingdom Singosari. The script is written by industry veteran Titien Wattimena alongside EKI's script writing team and brought to life by director and choreographer Rusdy Rukmarata. An earlier version of KEN DEDES was performed at last year's Festival Musikal Indonesia.

Hi Jakarta Production is collaborating with Ciputra Artpreneur to hold a show called 'SOUND OF MIRACLE III - The Miracle of 5 Tales'. The event will be held on April 1st and 2nd, 2023 at the Ciputra Artpreneur Gallery. '

Camp Broadway Indonesia has announced the five selected students who will join the Camp Broadway Ensemble to perform at The New York Pops 40th Birthday Gala at Carnegie Hall in New York City.

As part of their 49th anniversary, TEATER KELILING revived THE GREAT RAHWANA for a 2-show run on Saturday, March 4th, 2023 at Teater Besar, Taman Ismail Marzuki. THE GREAT RAHWANA was previously shown in 2019 at the Ciputra Artpreneur. This revival brings great acting, bombastic music, spectacles, and the same familiar story.

What did our critic think of SVATUHARI’S VIOLET?

On January 28 and 29, TEATER SVATUHARI's original musical VIOLET: WARNA YANG BERBEDA will take to the stage at Ciputra Artpreneur, Jakarta. This musical, produced by Joseph Moris and directed by Rinaldy Zulkarnain, will also feature a cast consisting of both theater influencers and stage performers.

What did our critic think of LITTLE WOMEN at SALIHARA? CENSTACOM (Center Stage Community) is a relatively new performing arts community, having started in 2019. Even so, their output is striking: six shows in three years featuring up-and-coming performers and a variety of show tunes. On January 20-21, 2023, CENSTACOM hit another milestone with their first full-length production of LITTLE WOMEN, licensed through Music Theatre International.

On March 18th and 19th, EKI Dance Company and Ciputra Artpreneur will bring KEN DEDES to the stage at the Ciputra Artpreneur Theater, Jakarta. The show is developed by longtime theatre practitioners, including Rusdy Rukmarata as director and choreographer, Titien Wattimena as scriptwriter, Oni Krisnerwinto as music director, and Iskandar Loedin as artistic director.
