On May 9, 2026, PRANALIKA PRODUCTIONS held a recital titled OFF THE CLOCK: MUSIC FROM THE TEACHER’S LOUNGE at Balai Resital Kertanegara. This recital puts a trio of longtime theater teachers – namely the professional pianist Hazim Suhadi and vocal coaches Andrea Miranda – front and center.
The recital started with the MC opening at around 7:05 PM. The stage setup was pretty simple and minimal, yet with a sense of warmth and coziness from the yellow hue imbued by the lighting. Although there was barely any prop on stage, it honestly felt perfect for a recital. They also used a projector, which completed and even enhanced the atmosphere.

They performed a total of 15+1 songs, starting with “Candide: Overture” played by Hazim Suhadi on piano. After that, Andrea Miranda and Dani Dumadi joined the stage and continued with 14 more songs. Some songs were solo performances by Andrea Miranda, some by Dani Dumadi, and there were also a lot of moments where they sang together. Hazim Suhadi stayed on piano throughout the recital, accompanying every performance smoothly.
What made the recital feel even more special was the interaction between songs. Andrea Miranda and Dani Dumadi would casually chat with the audience, throw little jokes around, and just talk naturally. Since most of the audience seemed to be their friends or people from the musical theatre and IMB (Intensif Musikal Budaya program) community, everything felt really intimate, personal, and comfortable, almost like watching close friends perform for each other.

After performing “Move On,” Andrea Miranda said that it was going to be the last song of the night. But the audience immediately cheered and asked for one more song. Eventually, they came back with an extra performance that wasn’t included in the program book: “Seasons of Love.” It was performed by Hazim Suhadi, Andrea Miranda, and Dani Dumadi, and a lot of the audience sang along too (with invitation from Andrea Miranda to sing together). It was a perfect ending for the recital. The show finished at around 9 PM.
Overall, the whole recital felt warm, intimate, and comforting. The ambience, the interactions, and the performances all blended together really well. The only thing that felt a bit off was the lighting, because sometimes it suddenly turned off or came in late during certain moments. Aside from that, the crew was really helpful, especially during registration and when helping people find their seats.
