Late Night Theatre Company, UH M?noa's student theatre organization, presents Corpus Interruptus, a devised theatrical experience with no script, no fiction, and no rules, exploring our bodies and identities in 2019. It will play in the Earle Ernst Lab Theatre on April 6, 12, and 13 at 10:00pm and April 7 at 7:30pm. Tickets range from $5-10 and are sold at the Kennedy Theatre Box Office one hour before curtain.

Trash & Treasure is a highly interactive adventure that spurs kids' to learn about the value of rubbish.  The short play follows Truckster, a talking garbage truck, and his best friend Sortie as they sing and dance their way through a day in the life of our garbage.   Introducing concepts of reducing, reusing and recycling the play will appeal to any child who has ever rushed to the window to watch a garbage truck pass by or any family who wonders how they can help make a difference in our environment.

Tony-nominated Broadway actress Loretta Ables Sayre returns to Blue Note Hawaii in Waikiki on Feb. 24, with a show at 8 p.m. Ables Sayre's performance will feature jazz standard selections from the Great American Songbook. Joining Loretta will be Hawaii-based musicians Jim Howard on piano, Dean Taba on bass and Darryl Pellegrini on drums.

Due to a lack of opportunities, as well as economic, social, and personal barriers, however, those with disabilities are much less likely to participate in arts and cultural activities than individuals without disabilities. The founder of DanceAbility International, Alito Alessi addresses this inequity and lack of inclusiveness through dance that creates opportunities for all people by utilizing movement as a universal language for expression and creation.

The Hawaii Shakespeare Festival (HSF) is pleased to announce its eighteenth season--with some big changes. The season kicks off with Shakespeare's final masterpiece, The Tempest, opening July 12. Next up is Much Ado About Nothing, a romantic comedy of codpieces and fake news, opening August 1. The season concludes with Shakespeare's dark tragedy, Macbeth, opening August 9.

The University of Hawai'i at M noa's Department of Theatre and Dance and Kennedy Theatre are proud to present Winter Footholds: Glimpse, the second dance concert in the student showcase series. This multidimensional performance brings together dance students, choreographers, technicians, and designers to create an intriguing presentation of contemporary dance. Performances will take place February 20, 21, 22, and 23 at 7:30 p.m., and Feb 24 at 2:00 p.m.; a free post-show rap with choreographers and dancers will follow the February 22 performance. Tickets are $8-$18.

Chamber Music Hawaii Presents MO'OLELO O KE KOA, An Adaptation Of Stravinsky's The Soldier's Tale

Chamber Music Hawaii (CMH) and the University of Hawai?i (UH) celebrate the centennial of Stravinsky's L'Histoire du Soldat (The Soldier's Tale) with an original Hawaiian translation of the work: Molelo o ke Koa. The production is adapted and directed by Todd Farley, and it features CMH musicians alongside actors and dancers from UH. Public performances are Monday, January 14 at 7:30 p.m. in the Doris Duke Theatre and Today, January 18 at 7:30 p.m. in Paliku Theatre. General Admission tickets are $35 per person and can be purchased at ChamberMusicHawaii.org.
