Washington Balalaika Society presents "A Musical Journey Around the World"

The Washington Balalaika Society, presents "A Musical Journey Around the World," joined by the Kalinka Dance Ensemble of Baltimore. The Kalinka Ensemble is a highly acclaimed regional dance company whose mission is to preserve and disseminate Eastern European folk-dance traditions as a form of traditional art. The concert program will include a potpourri of musical selections from Ukraine, Russia, Austria, Armenia, Brazil, Italy, Poland, America and more! Our conductor, Peter Omelchenko, will also perform as a soloist on the prima domra with the orchestra.
