She Kills Monsters - Virtual Realms by Qui Nguyen tells the story of Agnes Evans following the death of her younger sister, Tilly. When Agnes finds Tillys Dungeons & Dragons notebook, she stumbles into a journey of discovery and adventure in the imaginary world that was Tillys refuge. This adventure has a message that slays and is for all the inner demons and faeries in us ~ It's a story of love and loss, of unleashing the bad-ass warrior within, of shedding our inner misfit, of guts, grit, grace and glory! THEMES: Dungeons & Dragons, high school, bullying, loss of family members, LGBTQ+, role playing, grief, moving on.
