About this studio
Miami City Ballet is a professional ballet company celebrating 40 years in South Florida, headquartered at the Ophelia & Juan Js. Roca Center, 2200 Liberty Avenue, Miami Beach. It performs a repertory rooted in George Balanchine's work, including his Nutcracker, alongside story ballets such as Swan Lake, with its own orchestra and seasons at the Arsht, Broward, Kravis and Parker centers. Miami City Ballet School runs year-round classes through a Children's Division, Student Division and Pre-Professional Division, all entered by audition, plus open classes including Toddler & Me. Summer programs and student housing are offered, and students appear in end-of-year workshop performances.
