Men Who Dance 2026 Returns to the Broward Center for the Performing Arts

Men Who Dance, described as the largest all-male dance festival in the United States, returns to the Amaturo Theater stage at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts in downtown Fort Lauderdale on Saturday night, November 28 and Sunday afternoon, November 29, 2026, for its seventh consecutive year.

The 2026 edition features an expanded lineup of dance companies and guest artists. South Florida companies participating include Miami City Ballet, Dance NOW! Miami, Cuban Classical Ballet, Dimensions Dance Theatre of Miami, Arts Ballet Theatre of South Florida, Syncopate Dance Collective, and others. International guest artists include Ballet Nacional del Sodre (Chile), Cisne Negro (Brazil), Compañía Nacional de Danza de Mexico (Mexico), and Tropilla Malambo (Argentina). Tango Champion Twins German and Nico Filipelli return after a 2-year absence. This year's Men Who Dance Global extension will showcase talent from San Juan, Puerto Rico.

Men Who Dance has become known for physical displays of bravura and stimulating choreographies, bringing local, national, and international dance artists together to present a repertoire spanning a range of themes and genres. The festival has also served as a platform for choreographers to premiere new works that go on to other companies and artists, and is known for artistic expression that celebrates, challenges, deconstructs, and defies conventional notions of masculinity.

In 2020, Men Who Dance made history as the first in-door dance concert in a major theater since the closing of venues in March 2020 due to Covid-19.

'The essence and purpose of Men Who Dance is not to promote any agendas, or even come to conclusions, it is about engaging in the process of deconstructing the stereotypes of men, revaluate what is masculinity on and off the stage, and encourage and dare artists to explore them,' said Rafi Maldonado-Lopez, creator and Artistic Director of Men Who Dance.
