About this studio
Maywood Dance Center is a neighborhood dance school at 134 W Pleasant Ave in Maywood, Bergen County, New Jersey, teaching students from young children through adults. Classes cover ballet, tap, jazz, modern, lyrical and contemporary, hip-hop and acro, with a separate DREAM Program for ages 2 to 5 and a dedicated adult track. The studio highlights its suspended wood floor as a safety feature and points to experienced instructors, a personal scale and affordable pricing with multi-class discounts. Registration for 2026-2027 is by appointment with a downloadable form, and a separate schedule runs over the summer. Classes are held weekday afternoons and evenings plus Saturday mornings, and the studio holds an annual recital.
