About this studio
The Connick School of Irish Dancing teaches traditional Irish dance and states that it is dedicated to celebrating and preserving the heritage of Irish dance and culture. It offers a range of classes covering all levels, from complete beginners through to championship-level competitors, taught by instructors it describes as highly experienced. The school accommodates both dancers pursuing a competitive career in Irish dance and those taking it up purely as a hobby, and presents itself as a community built around lifelong friendships and shared tradition as much as around technique. Alongside its term-time classes it runs an annual summer camp combining dance instruction with social activities. The school operates in the Pineville area of North Carolina.
