Academy for the Performing Arts (APA) is a performing arts center on Perry Road in Apex, North Carolina, offering dance, theatre and voice instruction under one roof. Its dance program is split between a non-competitive recreational track and a competitive company, supported by a master class series, a community performance group, private lessons and a partnership with Duke Sports Medicine. APA also runs All Stars, an adaptive 'Dance for ALL' program, Move with Me classes for its youngest dancers, and adult classes. Beyond dance it operates Preschool for the Arts and theatre and voice classes, including an introductory Broadway class for PreK and kindergarten students. Camps include track-out, day, holiday and summer theatre camps.
