Stories Come to Life at LITERATURE ALIVE! Literature Alive! At Playhouse On Park

Playhouse on Park's Tenth Anniversary Season presents opportunities for students of all ages (pre-K through 12) to take a trip to the theater as a way to supplement their education and cultivate a love for the arts. We are now booking field trips for you and your group of students with our Literature Alive! program.

As part of the field trip experience, Playhouse on Park provides: a study guide to prepare students for the show, a pre-show in-school workshop led by a Playhouse professional, and a post-show meet and greet with the cast. Additionally, we are proud to partner with The Miracle League of Connecticut in offering Sensory Friendly performances of Curious George and the Golden Meatball and The Adventures of Flat Stanley the Musical.

Show options for the 2018-2019 Literature Alive program include: Dale Wasserman's One Flew Over The Cuckoos Nest (November 7-16), Curious George and the Golden Meatball (December 4-22), My Name Is Asher Lev (May 1-10), and The Adventures of Flat Stanley the musical (May 21-June 7). Prices vary between $6 and $10 depending on the show. Teachers and paraprofessionals attend for free!
