This timeless show is brought to life in Elgin, Illinois by a new theatre company, Encore Musical Theatre Productions. Performances are Friday and Saturdays at 7:30pm and Sunday matinees at 3 pm. The performance venue is the Kimball Street Theatre of Elgin Academy, 350 Park St., Elgin. This long running Off-Broadway production ran for over 42 years with 17,000 performances. The beautiful score includes the well-known “Try to Remember” and “Soon It’s Gonna Rain”. Encore Theatre Productions has a strong cast of 8 people who tell the story of a young boy and girl fall in love with the help of their parents, only to discover it was manipulation and deception.
