Second Annual Musical Magic Live A Medley of Music from Around the World at Elks Lodge

Musical Magic Live: A Medley of Music from Around the World is an unforgettable fundraising event that will transport you through the captivating sounds of Jewish music, performed by several extraordinary musicians: Afro D & Global Soundwaves, Cameron Cornell, Mariachi Libertad, Papashoy Klezmer Trio, and Tamra Gingold with the Urbana High School Chamber Orchestra. Each artist will bring to life songs from around the world, featuring composers and performers across generations. This variety of melodies and lyrics will transport you to a place of harmonious diversity and tolerance, echoing the values of the Dr. William Gingold, beloved son of David and Lilly. Elizabeth Hess, Editor-in-Chief of Chambana Today, will be leading the events of the night as Master of Ceremonies.

This immersive experience combines the power of music with the historical significance of the traveling Holocaust exhibit The Righteous Among the Nations. This powerful exhibit, created by Yad Vashem, features non-Jewish individuals from many nations and faiths who risked everything to rescue Jews, exemplifying courage and compassion during one of history’s darkest times.

This event will not only celebrate the beauty and strength of Jewish music, but also raise critical funds for the Lilly and David Gingold Holocaust and Tolerance Education Outreach Fund. Your support will help fund programs that educate students in rural and underserved communities, ensuring that the lessons of the Holocaust and the importance of tolerance are passed on through meaningful and impactful musical experiences.
