Orpheus in the Underworld at Bramble Arts Loft

Orpheus in the Underworld is a musical spoof of the Orpheus myth composed by Jacques Offenbach, with a libretto by Hector Cremieux and Ludovic Halevy, presented in a new English translation by Francis L. Lynch. Often considered the world's first operetta, the show introduced the now world-famous Cancan, known in the show as the Infernal Gallop. The production is directed and choreographed by SarahAnn Sutter with music direction by Lindsey Baer, featuring two alternating casts. The cast includes Mason Montuoro as Orpheus, Gabrielle Goudard and Gabrielle Haigh as Eurydice, Jonathon Joseph Larson and Sasha Tomasevich as Pluto, and Alexander Quackenbush as Jupiter, among others.
