Leroy and Lucy, the world premiere play by Ngozi Anyanwu, explores the meeting of two lost souls in the depths of the Mississippi. The cast features Jon Michael Hill as Leroy and Brittany Bradford as Lucy, who, together with a yearning guitar, share their secrets and desires against a backdrop of Delta Blues. Directed by Awoye Timpo, this production invites audiences into a sultry, evocative landscape where the past and future intertwine. Performances run from October 24 to December 15, 2024, at the Steppenwolf Theatre Company.
