NFT Performing Arts Academy & Youth Ensemble Holds Auditions For Fall Productions
The Noble Fool Theatricals Performing Arts Academy is eager to have local youth audition for a variety of performance opportunities, including: Alice in Wonderland Youth Ensemble musical, a teen's"Glee" Show Choir, a children's Sleeping Beauty production, and the teen play A Night in Transylvania. All auditions will be taking place during the month of September at Pheasant Run Resort (4051 E. Main St., St. Charles, IL; admin telephone 630-443-0438).
"Never before have we been able to offer this many audition-only programs in one quarter," says Education Manager Tracy Whiteside. "For ages 6 to 19 years old, we now have the ability to offer these advanced educational programs that are designed for the best and the brightest young talent in the area. All of these productions are in addition to the fall classes we offer, which are open to all experience levels. So we really do have something for everyone, regardless of age or experience!" All auditions are held at Pheasant Run Resort, and are first-come, first-served open auditions. "ALICE IN WONDERLAND" Youth Ensemble Fall 2010 Musical
Noble Fool Theatricals takes the classic Disney tale and updates it with contemporary makeup and costumes, and creates a mood inspired by Tim Burton's version.

October 13-November 21, 2010; Mondays and Wednesdays, 6:00-9:00 pm; Sundays, 1:00-5:00 pm Prepare and memorize a 1-minute monologue in the style of the show which portrays the character you are most interested in playing. Memorize 16 bars of a song from a similar style show. Bring sheet music; an accompanist will be provided. Do not bring CDs. Singing a cappella is not recommended. Actors will be taught a dance routine. Be prepared to dance with proper shoes and clothing.
