One Song Productions is run entirely by high school students from around the Triangle.

Princess Dragon Productions Presents: Mama Juggs: Three Generations Healing Fractured Body Images
Written and performed by ‘rie Shontel, Mama Juggs is a powerful monologue in four parts about female body awareness. Each character-- Teen Anita (age 17), Maternal Anita (age 27), Mable-Marie (age 47); and Suga Babe, (age 100) - will transport the audience into an intimate view of a woman's body image. Collectively, they face breast cancer, late puberty, old age, and breast feeding in their Oakland Housing Project living room. Throughout the show ‘rie sings original acapella breast-feeding songs passed down from her great-grandmother Suga Babe. This compelling show portrays how cultural taboos led to discovering identity and hope in her family.
