Whitesboro High School is proud to present Thoroughly Modern Millie on Wednesday, Feb. 27 at 7 p.m.; Thursday, Feb. 28 at 7 p.m.; Friday, March 1 at 7 p.m.; and Saturday, March 2 at 2 p.m. All shows will take place in the High School auditorium. Set in New York City in 1922 during the height of the Jazz Age, Thoroughly Modern Millie tells the story of young Millie Dillmount from Kansas, who comes to the city in search of a new life. Her dream is to find a job as a secretary for a wealthy man and then marry him, but things don't go exactly according to plan. More than 60 students in grades 9-12 are performing on stage, playing in the pit orchestra, or working behind the scenes.
