Scoop: DANCING WITH THE STARS on ABC - Monday, May 8, 2017
With just a few weeks left in the competition before heading towards the finals, the five remaining couples find themselves tasked with completing two full dances. In the first round dance, the pros will choose the song and dance style, and for the second, the couples will perform in a Trio Round with a new twist, in which the judges have chosen the trio partners, on Dancing with the Stars, live, MONDAY, MAY 8 (8:00-10:01 p.m. EDT), on The ABC Television Network. In addition, there will be a sneak-peek preview performance from the upcoming tour, Dancing with the Stars: Live! Hot Summer Nights, featuring the shows amazing pro and troupe dancers. One couple will be eliminated at the end of the night. Hosted by two-time Emmy-winning host Tom Bergeron and Erin Andrews, Dancing with the Stars is the hit series in which celebrities perform choreographed dance routines that are judged by a panel of renowned ballroom experts, including head judge, Len Goodman, dancers/choreographers Bruno Tonioli, Carrie Ann Inaba and Julianne Hough. For week eight, viewers may cast their votes for their favorite couples via phone during and up to 60 minutes after the end of the Dancing with the Stars broadcast in each time zone.
