Jessie J Hosts 2015 MTV MOVIE AWARDS Live Pre-Show Tonight

MTV today announced that Jessie J will bring her signature style and unmatchable sense of cool to burn up the red carpet of the "2015 MTV Movie Awards" as she hosts the spectacular Pre-Show airing LIVE tonight, April 12 at 7:30 p.m. ET. In the lead up to the main event, MTV will offer fans a week of exclusive first looks at five of the summer's must-see films during "MTV Movie Awards Takeover Week" presented by Mtn. Dew® Kickstart™. Immediately following the Pre-Show special, at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT, MTV will air the "2015 MTV Movie Awards" from Nokia Theatre L.A. Live in Los Angeles, California, hosted by Amy Schumer.

Poised in the middle of the action, Jessie J and MTV's Josh Horowitz will give viewers a first-hand look at all of the hip, Hollywood royalty walking the carpet from some of this summer's most anticipated movies as they make their show-stopping arrivals. Also, Cara Delevingne, Nat Wolff and author John Green will be on hand to introduce an exclusive sneak from the upcoming feature, Paper Towns.

Adding to the excitement, the first award of the night, "Best Hero," presented by Mtn. Dew® Kickstart™, will be revealed live during the Pre-Show. This socially-voted category puts fans in charge of choosing the winner. "Best Hero" nominees will be revealed and voting will begin on Thursday, April 2.

Fans can direct their own viewing experience with the ALL ACCESS Live Stream, unleashed by T-Mobile®. This second-screen interaction brings viewers live to the "2015 MTV Movie Awards" red carpet and inside the venue with the help of a multitude of camera angles.

Finally, fans will not want to miss social sensation Todrick Hall's theatrical arrival in the FIAT brand's all-new cross-over 2016 FIAT 500X that is sure to have the Internet buzzing.

In the week leading up to the main show, MTV will kick start complete movie mayhem with "MTV Movie Awards Takeover Week" that will include a world premiere, FIRST LOOK at the long-awaited next installment of the groundbreaking Jurassic Park series, Jurassic World. Beginning Monday, April 6 through Friday, April 10, MTV will feature full-day, on-air takeovers by some of Hollywood's biggest stars. Over the course of the week, cast from Spy (Melissa McCarthy, Jason Statham and Paul Feig), Trainwreck (Bill Hader and Judd Apatow), Jurassic World (Chris Pratt), San Andreas (Dwayne Johnson) and Ted 2 (Mark Wahlberg) will sit down with MTV's Josh Horowitz on must-see moments from their upcoming films, look back at favorite past "Movie Awards" moments and handicap the race for this year's Golden Popcorn in short-form segments airing around MTV's programming. Each night will culminate with an exclusive sneak peek at an upcoming summer blockbuster film at 11:00 p.m. ET/PT*.
