Rachel Bay Jones and Danny Burstein to Star in Indie Film RISE AND SHINE

According to new reports, Tony Winners Rachel Bay Jones and Danny Burstein will star alongside newcomer Ana Sharp in an independent film from Laura Somers called Rise and Shine. Based on a true story, the film follows Janice Steele and her daughter Terri who makes the transition from homeschool to public school. Janice, who was born with cerebral palsy and a developmental delay, inspires those around her in this new environment with her positivity.

Eddie Redmayne visited The Tonight Show on Monday to discuss his role in as the Emcee in Cabaret for which he was just nominated for a Tony. During the interview, Redmayne recalled his first Tony win in 2010 for Red and some of his Cabaret experiences, culminating in a moment where Redmayne taught Fallon how to perform the famous opening number 'Willkommen.' Actor Andy Nyman took to social media on Monday to reveal that he will be playing the role of Governor Thropp in the upcoming Wicked movie. In the musical, Thropp is the 'father' of Elphaba and Nessarose and the governor of Munchkinland. He appears in the opening number 'No One Mourns the Wicked,' which serves as a flashback of Elphaba's birth.
