One Man, Two Guvnors at Aurora Players

Set in 1963's Brighton, England, a middle-class resort town, the play revolves around the  misadventures of Francis Henshall, a hapless and hungry man who finds himself working for two different bosses at the same time. His motivations are simple: food and a girl. Hilarity ensues as Francis attempts to keep his two guvnors from discovering each other, all while doing whatever he can to satisfy both his appetites. This show is known for its witty dialogue, use of physical comedy and breaking the fourth wall. It was a hit in London before transferring to Broadway in 2012, the same year in which James Corden won the Tony Award for his portrayal of Francis Henshall. The play is packed with sub plots involving crime, arranged marriages, true love and mistaken identities.A lively skiffle band, including vocals, plays before the show starts and in between scene changes to round out the fun.
