Come and join the Verena McBee Quartet celebrating their 3rd album, a blend of three recording session from different times periods.
The album showcases Verena's Originals and arrangemnts as well a fresh takes on standards with John Colianni, John Di Martino and Alberto Pibiri on piano, Paul Beaudry and Stefano Battaglia on bass and Wayne Hernderson & Craig Holiday Haynes on drums.
There'll also be brandnew and very exciting music!
Composers on the set list include Chick Corea, Cole Porter, Frederick Lowe, Cecil McBee, Verena McBee.
"Bird(S)wing " is an original by Verena McBee in combination with an arranged version of "Lullaby of Birdland".
The quartet will perform at PANGEA's Cabaret room.
PANGEA has a fantastic Mediterranean cuisine, super fun staff and an artsy, lovely atmosphere. Food/Drink Minimum: $20,-
