When we went we got tickets on the "back side" of the circle as they were cheaper. I don't think they impact the view as they did a pretty good job acting to all sides. The seats are a bit cramped there (though not sure how they fare compared to the regular seats) and you have to cross the stage to get to them since they're a temporary structure so there's also no access to the mezzanine bar or anything if that's a concern for you

Thanks for the response. I may suck it up and spring for a table since it’s vacation but I’m not sure.

We had a table on the "short side" - and the actors do a pretty good job of playing to both sides - however, in the title number, probably 2/3 of it was played to the other (larger) side.  That was the most notable difference to us.

^ That was my experience as well. It was great for the rest of the show, though. A particularly interesting moment was when during "What Would You Do" Schneider turned away from Cliff, and just our section of the audience got to see this look of restrained emotion on her face. Brilliant staging/acting.

Point is, either section is great, except for during the title number, but even that's not too bad.

Saw this twice last week. The first time it was Andre Refig as the emcee and second with Fra Fee.  I was initially disappointed when the emcee that came out was not Fra....However, Andre did an amazing job and is actually a better singer. Fra did an commendable job as well but some of this singing parts were inaudible or low (not sure if it's his mic that night or what..)  The notable difference is that there is one scene when the Emcee came out in the clown costume (not sure the name of the song!), Fra was fully clothed while Andre was not.

Found this on YouTube! Enjoy before it gets taken down! Hopefully we can get more for people who can’t see this!

Someone said earlier this month that is coming next year to the Lyceum. I don’t know if that’s 100% true or not.

The remodel of the Playhouse in London took about 3-4 months, so if this production is transferring into the Lyceum this spring, they better get crackin’.

If nothing is announced in the coming weeks, I’d imagine the transfer will be next season or perhaps not at all.

I just hope it comes here! I’m so desperate! I am hoping to get an internship in London next summer so maybe I’ll see it then if it’s still running then.

I loved Callum Scott Howells in It's a Sin, and Madeline Brewer continues to be one of the best things about The Handmaid's Tale, so I'm very curious to hear about their performances in Cabaret.

OMG! Those photos look absolutely beautiful! Agreed, Madeline is absolutely amazing on Handmaid's Tale! Can't wait to hear what people think of their performances! I am looking for a directing internship in London so hopefully, I can see them by next summer if I get the chance.

I had no idea Madeline Brewer was in this. I’d love to catch her. Not a huge name by any means but definitely great casting!

Since the Lyceum is gonna be available in January, could we possibly see a transfer by Summer 2023? I know, I’m getting my hopes up again but was just wondering.

I doubt they'll want to keep the theatre vacant that long without a production, plus find time to renovate or alter it if they want to closely replicate what is being done in the West End. I would think an early Fall or Winter 2023.

Are we really taking the Lyceum rumors as gospel? How will it be possible to create the immersive aspect in a space like that?

CABARET is happening in the 2024-25 season.

Kad, you're correct. This was NEVER happening this season, and it was never happening at the Lyceum.

They were just rumors started on this board and then propagated by that guy on Tik Tok...

Question for anyone who would know - when is the next schedule cast change for this production? I’m planning a UK trip for the spring

I am big. It’s the REVIVALS that got small.

28 January 2023 should be the current cast's last performance
