C*CK ends the beginning of June, so OP will be missing that one.

I’m also still waiting for The Old Vic to announce their summer schedule and who will be staring in SISTER ACT, with Jennifer Saunders.

I'm also planning to be in London at some point this summer. A friend suggested going first week of June since it's a bank holiday weekend to celebrate the Queen's 70th Jubilee.

Do not forget to check out Buckingham Palace tours during August, September and October- the state rooms- the throne room, the banquet hall- and so many different rooms are open for touring- along with the gardens if you pay a little extra. One of the best tours ever- and before a show- what could be better?

Shakespeare’s Globe has just announced its summer season. One of the more intriguing productions they’re doing is King Lear, with Kathryn Hunter as Lear. Could be wonderful, could be awful, but probably won’t be boring. In repertory, June 10 - July 24.

Bonnie & Clyde will be playing the Arts until the first week of July.

Likely to be a new musical of some description at The Other Palace (their new season should be announced soon).

Bummer that Cinderella will have already closed. ( as welll as C*CK)   I am sure between Donmar/National/Old Vic/Almedia there and who knows - a big West End show - there will be some other choices.

If anyone hears any rumors (errrr, Rumours) of West End shows this summer keep em coming

Cinderella isn’t closing. Where did you read that?

I think they may be referring to the fact that tickets are currently only on sale through the end of May.

I don't think there's been an official "it's closing May 29th", but it is surprising that they haven't opened up tickets sale past that date. Wouldn't they want to start building a summer advance now if they're intending to stay open?

Ah, I see. I’ve noticed that a lot with West End tickets though, so while it very well might be closing, I wouldn’t read too much into that right now.

Oh - just saw that CABARET will still be up...casting hasnt been announced yet for the run after Eddie and Jesse leave but damn there are some great seats available.  Also the most expensive seats I've ever seen for West End Theater.

If the new cast excites I would be interested.

No murmers of Cinderella closing, and they've just had a massive rebrand. I'm guessing summer tickets will be put on sale when the show comes off hiatus next week.

Great news if the show extends to the summer...im so in.

Just saw that Old Vic announced JITNEY for June/July.  Phenomal play but have seen it twice.  Also, Young Vic is doing OKLAHOMA! which was so good  - just dont need to see it again.

Awaiting National, Donmar and Alameda for their Summer shows...

Another one for your radar Vernon.

"Fantastically Great Women Who Changed the World" will be playing in Stratford in June/July. It's had very good word of mouth from the regions. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CHp2C1rYsTc

Definitely keep an eye on Southwark Playhouse for programming too - they have some exceptional productions.

If you´re into Golden Age shows, the Bart Sher production of My Fair Lady will be playing from May at the London Coliseum. They´ll have a huge orchestra playing the original arrangements.

Is Southwark in its new space? How is it? And accessible without going to Elephant & Castle?

Just learned that Mark Rylance is doing a revival of Jerusalem at the Apollo. through August 7, 2022. But it appears to be sold out the weeks we may be there. Of course there is "sold out" and there is actually "sold out".
