I just cant find this info anywhere please help? How does one purchase tickets for an upcoming show? I saw on social that tickets are selling like crazy for Music Man but I cant find anywhere to actually BUY those advanced dates tix. Seems basic but Im just stumped.
I checked tickets maybe ten minutes ago, and yes, Jagged Little Pill, Diana and Ain't Too Proud are Broadway shows currently on sale. I do believe there are tour tickets/subscriptions on sale right now.
Expect the announcement of some openings (and thus tickets on sale) next Tuesday. Also expect that some shows will change their minds about their dates.
1. Performances (as of this moment) don't even start for MM until late December (according to the website). This could change.
2. Tix are not currently ON sale.
3. WHAT did you mean by "an upcoming school"? Do you mean group tix? I wouldn't expect a discount to be available for school groups for this one for awhile. But it sounds likes there on limits on how many an individual can purchase on their own.
4. This website handles group sales - and while I wouldn't use them for individual tix (crazy high fees), I have heard of them being good for groups. You can sign up for an alert through them to be notified when tix are back on sale.
If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it?
These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

If you're looking for group tickets - there is a link inside which will refer you to a unit that handles group sales. No tickets are yet sold but they will take your relevant information and presumably you will be informed when group tickets will be available.
No new ticket are being sold now. The show was postponed twice and what they did was to reassign the tickets already purchased to new dates ( same day and same time of the week as original tickets) or give you a choice of a refund or an exchange.. They are allowing new tickets under an exchange arrangement in case the reset dates were not convenient for the ticketholder.
You may want to check the Page for TMM every now and then ( or maybe this board) as to when they will start entertaining new ticket sales.
Also, Telecharge has a refund/exchange guarantee for all tickets being currently sold for performances through 1/22/22, so there's really no risk in buying now.

Ha. The plan was announced by the governor. Shows can reopen after 5/19, at 100% capacity. No social distancing so long as everyone is either vaccinated or tested. AEA will work with the League on protocols for safe reopening. On 5/11, some shows are expected to announce specific dates.

I've been trying to get my refund for a June 1 Hadestown show which will not occur. Jujamcyn approved it, but even they are getting a Ticketmaster stall.
Well aware of "no-refunds unless canceled," but Jujamcyn admitted they've been granting refunds and have authority to do so..
My MM tickets were replaced with 2022 dates. Bought the original ones in 2019. Seems forever.
Presume theaters will require vax or negative test proof and execution. At point of sale or entry door on performance date? Upload vax card upon online purchase and show test result at door? And what about theater employees? Another complexity for reopen.
West End theatres have done paperless ticketing for a while now (not just paperless but it’s bigger than over here) and I always just ask the box office for printed tickets, since I like to keep them. I’m sure it’ll be the same thing here where you’ll have the option to have it printed at the B.O., if you want.

You say you saw it "on social" which suggests that you read what the show's PR staff put out to promote the show. They do this on purpose because the general public just "has" to see a Hot Ticket Show.
In all probability there are seats available and you'll be able to buy tickets for it in the near future.
touchless does not mean you must have a phone. you can print it out or get a piece of paper from the box office but the ticket-on-card-stock was on its way to dodo bird status before covid.

From what I read, touchless ticketing is just another word for mobile ticketing. So, you cannot print out a ticket or have a physical ticket in any way if the venue has gone 100% mobile/ticketless. So as Lizzie stated not everybody has a smart phone. Or as I say, wants a smart phone. I attempted to purchase a ticket to a concert at a venue that has gone 100% touchless. Management told me the ONLY way for me to purchase is through a phone. No exceptions. And yes, physical tickets were on their way out before covid. Unfortunately, venues do not care if you own a phone. They feel that more than enough in the majority owns one.
Cuomo just stated at his press briefing for today that tickets for Broadway shows will go on sale tomorrow for performances beginning September 14th, with theaters at 100% capacity. He didn't provide any information about how many shows, which shows, etc. Let's see if we get any kind of announcements from the League and/or returning shows today or tomorrow.
