I don't know if I've ever had a bigger smile on my face than I did watching Sutton and Gavin in their scenes together. I'm a huge fan of both, and last night was the kind of joyous night that reminds me why I fell in love with musical theatre so many years ago.
In my experiences, a person has been able to purchase up to two tickets. So if it's a group of five, as in the example above, tickets would have to be purchased in three separate transactions (two, two, and one)
I only have a handful, as I only got a turntable last year: A Chorus Line, Dear Evan Hansen, The Drowsy Chaperone, Fiddler on the Roof, Godspell, Hair (2009 Revival), Hairspray, Hedwig and the Angry Inch (2014 Revival), If/Then, A Little Night Music, Merrily We Roll Along, Once, Wicked.

It's interesting that you say this, because I saw the NAMT presentation last year and thought that 45 minute cut of the show was far more engaging and interesting than what's currently onstage at 59E59. I really wanted to like this show, as I've been a fan of some of the music for a long time, but
There also just aren't that many theaters available for the spring. Only the Booth, Cort, Hudson, Lyceum, Kerr, and Nederlander are empty, and very few of those would truly be suitable for this kind of show.
Haven't they both been rumored to be attached to Jason Robert Brown's musical adaptation of A LEAGUE OF THEIR OWN? Could it possibly be a reading/workshop of that?
ETA: It could also be possible that the "we're" Wolfe is referring to is the company of WAITRESS, who is probably(?) currently rehearsing with Jason Mraz, and she was just expressing their collective agreement with Sutton's tweet.
