Not trying to start a rumor, but was browsing TODAY TIX and saw under JLP's "Read full description" it says:
Start Date: Nov 3, 2019
Closing Date: Jul 5, 2020
I am sure this could be an error, maybe thats just what they are selling tickets until, but seeing the words "Closing Date" made me ask for clarification.
Tickets are currently on sale through July 5th, a new block of tickets will be released if the show sells well. July 5th is a logical closing date if the show struggles to get to the Tony Awards and comes away empty handed. Based on its current grosses though, they show should likely be around through the end of summer at least.

Assume all Broadway musicals are open runs until otherwise stated*.
*Unless they get evicted before they gain traction and have to leave for another show.

Let's hope the producers start to negotiate accordingly instead of just accepting anything because they're desperate to open!

Is it going to close? Yes, 100%. On July 5? Probably not. TodayTix likely automatically populates that date from the last date tickets are available.
The show has been grossing over $1 million/week since it opened. I'd expect a new block of tickets to go on sale soon.
A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.
For what it's worth, I believe they are selling beyond that date to groups.
The Broadway Cruise, in October, has an option for pre-cruise tickets to the show. I would assume that they have a block of tix to work from.
...and, by the way, the line-up on the cruise is really great (Laura Benanti, Alan Cumming, Norm Lewis, Norbert Leo Butz, Lena Hall, Jenn Collela, Sierra Boggess). ...and not on a super-luxury ship (with the associated costs) like the other broadway-themed cruises I've seen in recent years. I'm not a shill - just one of the cruisers. https://www.thebroadwaycruise.com
