I have a $109 ticket for a Saturday evening show, so they do exist on the weekends unless they raised the prices (which is very possible!).

Everyone involved from the ticket buyers to Rudin to the creatives to Hugh Jackman probably have high expectations. They have a lot of time to really think through their ideas and test the execution of them before it’s too late.

While many (perhaps even most) tickets, especially the most expensive prime orchestra ones, appear to have moved - there is definitely a decent amount of availability in many performances left. I'm sure it'll mostly be gone in the next few months, but it's not a complete immediate sell-out. I wonder if Bette Midler had a stronger start.

Qolbinau, yes when tickets for Bette's HD went on sale 3 years ago, it was the largest 1 day sale in Broadway history.

Thanks for the kind words. I do love New York - where I discovered Broadway when I used to work there. I've also been on this message board since almost Day 1 ( 2003) and enjoy the theatre-related conversations as I can only revisit NYC once in a while.
