I know its a comedy bit, but I was somewhat disappointed that Corden used "Let the Sunshine In" for the nude scene, and sexualized it. Anyone who has ever seen a production with "Where do I go" performed, as originally intended, understands that the nudity is not about sex, but about baring it all in the face of adversity, in both a physical and metaphorical sense. It was an easy joke, but I would of rather seen them perform "Black Boys/White Boys" which would of been a lot more funny.
I also wished they attempted to do the post curtain call dance party with drivers which would of not only been an awkwardly hilarious moment, but really beautiful and affirming in our current political climate as well.
I personally don't understand how anyone drives off when Crosswalk is happening. I'd be the person sitting at the green light with everyone honking at me just going "nope."

I agree, and was while I was watching it noticed that the "honking" doesn't really align with the visuals, so I wouldn't be surprised if people do that. I know personally I would.

They performed less than 15 minutes of the show, context really doesn't matter.
If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it?
These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.
Besides which, "Where Do I Go" was never the only place it appeared in the first-run productions; the original Mexican production placed the nude scene during "Walking in Space," and an early draft of the film (not that it bears much relation to the stage play) gave the gathering before the White House at the film's end [during "Let the Sun Shine In"] a specific purpose: a Vietnam War protest, during which everyone disrobed and painted a cross on themselves with white face paint, a "human Arlington" in memory of the lives lost.
The sketch obviously wasn't going for their angle, and probably didn't even know that version of the "Let the Sun Shine In" scene was ever a thing, but there are ways to make the nude scene work with that number [or any number other than "Where Do I Go"] and not be inappropriately humorous or exploitative.

Because they have f*ck-you money and not everyone is a body-shaming @sshole. I'd do either of them. Or both. At the same time. Smart and funny and talented are sexy. And so are bodies that aren't ripped. Go peddle that sh*t elsewhere.
Stupid, childish and un-funny--now what did I REALLY think ? Almost as silly as those car song things--yes,I watched 1 of those and now 2 cross road things.
Probably pissed that I can't get sound on the Groff/Sondheim/Britney thinggy. Now if HE took his clothes off I would be the Lollypop lady stopping the traffic so I could watch it in replay.
