I just went to Fathoms website and clicked on Bandstand - I entered my zip code and theaters near me popped up with a link to purchase tickets. Is it possible there may not be a theater near you showing it? I live in a mid-sized Midwest city but there are 3 theaters showing it within an easy driving distance.

On the43rd street side. You pass right in front of it if you line up along 43rd street to go into the theater."
Thanks! When facing the 43rd street public entrance, is the stage door on your left, or your right?"
It will be to your right as you face the entrance. No way to miss it - very long barricade and I
Celebrities not from the show coming out of the Stage Door Jun 4

James Cromwell at Dolls House Part 2, Bobby Cannavale at Falsettos and Joe Lo Truglio at Front Page, who also happened to be seated next to me during the play and was super nice. Cromwell smiled and waved to those waiting at stage door, Cannavale did not acknowledge anyone, but no one tried to engage him, either. Which I think is appropriate when a celeb is not in the show.

I have tickets for the Saturday matinee after the Tonys. So sounds like I shouldn’t hope to see him even if he’s healthy? I heard he was missing a lot of shows lately but didn’t know if it was illness related/temporary or an actual predictable pattern. How does that work with their cont
At least he was somewhat self aware enough to notice Quinto not feeling it, but he goes for it anyway.
smh.

I’m still holding out hope he’ll make a surprise appearance at the first performance after the Tonys when I have tickets. Probably silly of me but maybe?!??

While I can’t agree with that as a general rule, I will admit to being one of those people who is super disappointed when I get an understudy in a significant role (first thing I do is look for the “dreaded slip” and hold my breath until I see

The only time I got to see Rent (other than the first couple of tours) Norbert Leo Butz was Adam Pascal’s understudy. In fact, I believe he was a swing. While there’s almost nothing that comes close to Adam’s rock tenor for me, Norbert was spectacular and made me forget that I wasn’t seeing Adam. And look at him now.
However, as someone who has to travels to NYC for Broadway fixes and can usually only see each show once as a result, I do understand that feeling of seeing a slip in

Same - I really enjoy his work and was hoping to see him in a couple of weeks. Shouldn’t have assumed he had a one year contract (or even a 6). I wish they hadn’t used the term “hiatus” in all the press releases - at least I would have known back in February that he wouldn’t be in in June

Call Telecharge, 212 239-6210. If there's a June schedule, they'll have it."
Telecharge’s message about Shalhoub on their site says “he’s leaving” the show to film, but will play select performances in May. That sounds more final (and sadly for me seeing it in June, possibly more rea

It’s the only possible explanation. If you look on stubhub you’ll see that for each show 200-300 tickets are on up for sale (the theater capacity is only 776). The vast majority are in the center orchestra and priced 2-4 times higher than face (even premium face). I can’t imagine scal

I don't know what your Boys experience has been, but I bought my front/center orchestra tickets back in early January and paid a lot less than what seats are listed for on Telecharge now. For that show, it seems that those who bought early saved; t
I almost hate to chime in because I also fall into the camp of people who had to purchase in advance because I'm not local and travel to NYC for theater trips when I can, so I have to plan out what I want to see in advance and usually buy tickets in advance. I have noticed pricing all over the map over the last month, and have returned/purchased new tickets probably 4-5 times now as a result. I initially purchased at the $299 level (willingly albeit not happy about the cost&nb

I’m sorry if I’m misunderstanding but it sounds almost like much of the orchestra has some minor sight line issues with the second floor of the set? Someone in center G missed some stuff, felt closer up would also miss or even miss a bit more, and the very back of the orchestra (row P and perhaps O where my tickets are) has mezzanine overhang issues? Sounds like all of these are minor but if this is the case I won’t worry about trying to move up (right now it isn’t even possible but it seems l

You can see most of the second level of the set but to see heads of the actors you do have to duck down to get the full view depending on how tall you are. Not a lot happens up there but there is a lovely scene with Matt Bomer in his underwear that I practically had to squat down in the row to see. It's not terrible, but I also didn't pay full price for my t

Am only seeing this now so you may have already found out - but there’s no Broadway DVD. The London show was recorded and released on DVD. I would give anything for a DVD of the Broadway version!
