Yes. This what non-Midler & Groban numbers look like for Dolly and Great Comet. The holiday week probably made them worse than they would have been. We'll see for Great Comet next week what Oak and Ingrid together can do for the numbers.
Dolly's average ticket price dropped over $100 while Midler was out, which is not surprising, but doesn't bode well for after she's gone.
Regarding DEH, the ticket price hike is kicking in, hence the higher gross. Average ticket price up about $50 from last week.
LOL at Groundhog Day being one of the few to go up, as slight as it was. I'll be happily surprised if they can keep it up.
WOW is right! It's hitting Hamiltonian numbers, and before anyone says that I'm crazy take a look and see how long it took Hamilton to hit an AVERAGE ticket price of $215.00. I'll save you the trouble, it was this past December. I remember gasping the first time I saw it hit an average ticket price of $200, which I thought was crazy.
CZJ at opening night party for A Little Night Music, Dec 13, 2009.
Wow, the Great Comet numbers are surprisingly...not that bad, especially considering this was such a bad week for almost everyone. And considering the show was averaging around 950k to 1.1m with Groban (not counting his last two weeks where everyone was buying premium tickets), it actually hardly dropped at all. Honestly I was expecting a lot worse. Guess we'll see if they can sustain it once Oak joins...
Also, what the heck DEH? Good for them, but where on Earth did that spike come from?
I am really cheering for GHD and Bandstand to last a bit longer. And eek about War Paint. I'll say it again, that Tony performance did nothing to sell tickets.
GHD is STILL under water, and Comet may be as well. It would seem both are going to be joining a number of others in not benefiting from the MLK Day bump

It's kind of surprising how little interest there was in the Miss Saigon revival.
How much longer for The Play That Goes Wrong? I keep forgetting it's running.
Those Marvin's Room numbers are sad. I know it's a non-profit but I don't remember even the worst Roundabout shows grossing that low, and Marvin's Room isn't anywhere near as bad as say The Cherry Orchard or Old Times.
A little swash, a bit of buckle - you'll love it more than bread.

I believe they're selling tickets until January 7th, and unless their grosses start dropping drastically I wouldn't be surprised if they keep it running that long.
I think out of BANDSTAND, GROUNDHOG DAY & WAR PAINT, WAR PAINT will be the first to go. I think BANDSTAND & GROUNDHOG DAY will last until the end of the year. I think GREAT COMET will shutter by the end of the year, too, unless a name comes into the show. DOLLY will keep running as long as there's a name in the title role. Probably not someone as big as Midler, but someone big enough to bring in $1 million a week+.
A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.
I think ACL2006's prognostication may be spot on. Labor Day - Thanksgiving is a tough window for the survivors without stars. "Bandstand" has eroded since its Tony bump. When I was there Saturday afternoon, the upstairs was about 75%, but heavily discounted. I scored great half-price seats in front mezz onlythe Thursday before. Maybe their advance has picked up. But fall... Fall sales. With several musicals SRO, one wants to believe audiences will have to sample GHD, BS because they lose their 1st - 4th choices. Without Groban, GC doesn't have that boomer+ appeal.

I have tickets for War Paint and Miss Saigon for late September. Should I be worried? We have 7 other shows as well including Hello Dolly, Hamilton and Dear Evan Hansen(which I saw in Jan but convinced my sister to see it again) But I really want to see those two.

I wouldn't count on War Paint still being around but I think Miss Saigon will make it to its planned closing in January
