My sister and I saw the very first preview and I wanted to stage door to get my window card signed so my sister said she'd just wait for me out of the way somewhere. The crowd was crazy but I was able to get close enough to hand my window card over the head of a younger girl who said she didnt mind and I was getting autographs when my sister got my attention and said it looked so exciting she would take pics of the the actors for me .I was getting most everyones autopgraph when Jim Parson
I go to New York about once a year and see several shows ,this past April I saw 11. I always ask for an extra Playbill as I frame my whole trip but also Ieep the second one in a trunk displayed so I can periodically look at them. I also collect Playbills from shows I don't see by going to the Theater Box Office when they are open but not during show times..I politely ask the person at the window for a Playbill and probably 70% of the time I get one. If they say they don't have th
There is a gear Brooklyn tour called Made in Brooklyn with Dom Gervasi. He is an excellent guide. I highly recommend him. The walking tours last about 3 hours.
That's awesome. I have never had any trouble doing the same thing,so glad you "risked" it lol
What shows have you walked out on? May 24

I would never walk out of a show on Broadway but I have walked out at intermission on two touring shows. Could not get through Godspell as I hated being preached to and Happy Days was just so awfull,
My sister and I fly in from Texas each year on a Wednesday and book the earliest flight that has us arrive around 10:30 and we always schedule a matinee and have never been late and we always have checked baggage. We do however stay at the Hotel Edison in the Theater District on 47th and Broadway where we can check our bags in five minutes and be out the door to any theater easlily.I say go for it.And I think DEH is a must see show. I've seen in three times!!
I saw the first preview and never noticed any problems with the pace. It was excellent and the chemistry was very good among all performers.

Well this was the highlight of my trip (a tie with Angels In America) but just wow The entire cast is superb and hit the mark every time I’ve always liked the original movie but man it’s so much better live !!
Where and what time will the Tony Nominations be announced? I will be in New York on May 1st and would love to be in the "room where it happens" lol Is there a way to get tickets? Any info is helpful Thanks
We are seeing Frozen later this month and have reservations for Sardi's that night. It might be toursity but I am a tourist of sorts since I live in Texas and get to New York about once a year.We have been going there once each trip since 2003 and we really like it for what it is. I agree having after show drinks there is a lot of fun upstairs. But we also like Joe Allen and try to go there once while we are in town. Also we tried Pergola des Artiste on 46th last trip and liked it and are

I love Duncan Sheik and will see anything he does but I was so hoping his next Broadway show would be Whisper House. I saw him in an intimate show in Mckinney Tx in 2009 and he sang through the CD. I have been hooked ever since.
I am seeing Angels April 25th both parts and have Row A seats 107/108. I thought I read where someone said the first row was too close. Is that the case or I am good with these seats?
I have done both. You just have to leave the parade before its over but I think I saw everything. Actually I've done it twice,in 2011 and 2014. I loved the parade. But also didn't want to waste a slot for a show. lol Do get to the parade early and settle on a spot on the right side of Broadway because you wont be able to cross the street.Good luck and have fun and I vote Boys in The Band.
The first Broadway show I ever saw in March 2003 was Ma Rainey's Black Bottom not even knowing Whoopi was in it. We had 5 shows scheduled including Les Miserables since it was closing soon, but the musicians went out on strike so all of our shows were cancelled. we found two to see as the actors played their own instruments in Ma Rainey's and Cabaret, .needless to say they were both excellent Loved Whoopi and NPH so our trip was still successful and
I just got tickets to see Children of a Lesser God at Studio 54 and our seats are Center Orchestra Row E Seats 107-108. I've seen Cabaret there twice in 2004 and again in 2014 and both times there were tables and benches in the orchestra section. I have to assume they have now reconfigured the seating to the normal style. Is this correct or am I missing something?
