Carmen Cusack will make her final appearance as Alice Murphy on the Bright Star tour in Salt Lake City. If you didn't catch her on Broadway, seriously don't miss the opportunity to see her in this beautiful role. Read more about it here in the Deseret News: goo.gl/4TFz7S

As we stumble along on life's funny journey. As we stumble along into the blue. We look here and we look there, seeking answers anywhere. Never sure of where to turn or what to do.
Still we bumble our way through life's crazy labyrinth. Barely knowing left from right nor right from wrong. And the best that we can do is hope a blue bird, will sing his song as we stumble along.
I wish I could get to see Carmen in Bright Star one last time. I so loved her performance as Alice. Can't get out to Salt Lake City. I was hoping that she would add a few cities but no such luck. I picked up tickets to see her out at Tilles Center on Long Island on March 9th. I am looking forward to her show.

I adore her in this role and it inarguably made her a star, but goodness I am so excited (and ready) to see her do something else! I'm thinking she feels the same. Let's get her back on Broadway.
Carmen told me it was going to be her understudy, Audrey Cardwell.

I'm one who did not love this show at all (lots of issues with the book), but even so I can say that Carmen turned in one of the most incredible performances I've seen. She was just wonderful and her voice is near perfection. I hope she returns to Broadway soon.
Carmen is my first choice for Miranda in a Devils musical

My expectations were suitably modest for this musical on the San Francisco leg of the tour, and the book has many problems. But I really did enjoy the show anyway, more than I expected, and I had terrific seats to watch Cusack's wonderful acting showcase.

I think many of us feel this way, truth be told.
If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it?

I didn't think Carmen could get any better, but wow. Just wow. The Bright Star tour in Salt Lake is a must see. Read my review in the Deseret News here: https://goo.gl/iaWMpJ
I loved it so much I'm seeing it again Friday and then again on closing night. I feel like I'm witnessing history.

Her Bright Star performance was honestly one of the best I've ever seen. She owned that role in every way. Happy for the SLC'ers who will get to see her!
I've been secretly hoping for a City of Angels revival, and I think she'd be perfection as Gabby/Bobbi. Just wanted to put that out into the world. (...With Andy Karl as Stone, while I'm at it.)

It was an amazing, beautiful performance.
