"Live Nation, The Araca Group and EBG (Entertainment Benefits Group) have just announced a new partnership that will bring a variety of artists to Broadway venues multiple times each year. In Residence on Broadway will run May through July 2019 at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre (205 West 46th Street).
She was in Miami before London, so she hasn't been in NY for a while. She is also still promoting her tour, which begins the day before Stephanie's final performance, so if it was indeed Lucie, wouldn't they have just extended Stephanie until April 4th, when her tour is over?
"No it's Jessica's role since she is lead. If she is unavailable then the standby is there to fill in. If both are unavailable then the understudy goes on. Jessica is under no obligation to give anyone a show. Same way Jackie does not have to give the standby on tour a show. They are doing their jobs and not screwing anyone over by it."
Exactly. She doesn't owe anyone anything lol
Also, I've seen Jessica as Elphaba on broadway and tour

Replying to comments, going into dms and acting this defensive (and at times, rude) didn't help her case, nor did it solve the situation. Twitter isn't a huge fan of her to begin with, so I'm assuming that played a part as well."
Didn't want to start a new thread over this, but was at the 15th Anniversary Performance and was shocked to see how weak Amanda Jane Cooper was, especially next to Jessica Vosk.
Does anyone else who was there or has seen the show recently know if she is normally like this or if she was just having an off-night?

I’ll Never Love Again is actually being treated as the “lead single” and was sent to the radios. I think it has the chance to become as iconic as I Will Always Love You and My Heart Will Go On.
Pretty smart for this show to come in this season since it's particularly weak for new musicals. It could easily become the best musical front runner and run on word of mouth through that alone, doesn't necessarily need the instagram "stans".
