For a second time, the Helen Hayes Awards Recommended© Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat at Olney Theatre Center has been extended - to Sunday, April 3. The performances during the extension week are Thursday, March 31 through Saturday, April 2 at 8 p.m., and matinees on Saturday, April 2 and Sunday, April 3 at 2 p.m.

Under the microscope and unaccustomed to the LeVay?s affluent lifestyle, the women challenge the household dynamic. While issues around race and class are at the forefront of this play, it is ultimately about secrets, skeletons in the closet, and about dysfunctional family life.

Liberty Showcase Theatre ROARS back to the stage with THERE'S A MONSTER IN MY CLOSET!, a frighteningly funny children's musical written by Angela D. Stuart with music and lyrics by Bill Francoeur. Directed by Ted McCadden and Lori Chapman, fantasy and reality collide in this eclectic and enchanting musical romp, relating the story of a girl named Emily, who discovers a monster in her closet. She invites her friends over for a slumber party, in an effort to capture the monster. The outcome is not what they expected and, with other wonderfully entertaining characters, the story showcases the manner in which friendship, ingenuity and a sprinkling of magic lead to a delightful solution to the monster problem.
