The 17th Annual Celebration of the Arts in Howard County will be held on Saturday, March 29, 2014 at the Horowitz Visual and Performing Arts Center at Howard Community College (HCC) in Columbia. Kevin Kelehan, Partner with Carney, Kelehan, Bresler, Bennett & Scherr, LLP and recipient of the 2012 Howie Award for Outstanding Community Supporter of the Arts, will serve as Honorary Chair for the event. Richard W. Story, Senior Vice President, Community Relations and Government Affairs, and Business Development Liaison for Howard Bank, will serve as Event Emcee.
Registration Now Open for Howard County Arts Council's Summer Camps

Registration has begun for visual and performing arts summer programs at the Howard County Arts Council (HCAC) in Ellicott City. Programs are open to the public, regardless of residency in Howard County, for students entering grades K-7. Campers must be at least 5 years of age by September 1, 2014 to be eligible for summer camp.

The Baltimore Playwrights Festival has scheduled its second round of Play Development Workshop Readings. The readings will be held on Saturday, January 18, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at the Spotlighters Theatre, 817 Saint Paul Street, Baltimore, MD 21202.Admission to the readings is free and the public is encouraged to attend, and join the discussion of these works-in-progress with the writers, actors and directors.

The better to ensure no embarrassing mix-ups. But leave it French playwright Marc Camoletti to ensure myriad mix-ups that make for a masterful farce in Fells Point Corner Theatre's uproarious and entertaining adaptation of his 1962 play.
Everyman Theatre Announces Extension of Crimes of the Heart

Pumpkin Theatre continues its 46th Season "Discovering New Friendships Through Familiar Tales" with Seussical Jr. Follow the musical adventure of Horton, an elephant who one day hears voices coming from a speck of dust and spends the rest of his days protecting his new friends from WhoVille. The Cat in the Hat, Maisy, Getrude McDuck, The Wickersham Brothers, Jo Jo and more all join in on this mash up of Dr Seuss' favorite tales. Part of our "Kids for Kids" series, this show will feature younger actors working with Pumpkin Artists to present a professional Main Stage Production.
