WILD WITH HAPPY Winning Rave Reviews at Center Stage, Closes June 29

Wild with Happy is the joyous new comedy by Tony nominee Colman Domingo that is currently kicking off summer and the end of Season 51 at Center Stage. Now playing through June 29, the production is earning strong reviews from critics and audiences. The Baltimore Sun says the show is "priceless," "dynamic," an "endearing comedy…spiced with sharp humor," while Maryland Theatre Guide calls it "a perfect show."

Adventure Theatre MTC concludes its 2013-2014 62nd Season with Pinkalicious, the Musical, June 20 - Aug. 31, 2014 based on the starting book of the runaway series, "Pinkalicious" by Victoria Kann & Elizabeth Kann, script by Elizabeth Kann & Victoria Kann, music by John Gregor, and lyrics by John Gregor, Elizabeth Kann & Victoria Kann. Pinkalicious, the Musical is directed by Carl Menninger, with music direction from Wayne Chadwick and choreography and movement by Michael J. Bobbitt. Carolyn Agan, who recently performed as Olive Ostrovsky in the 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee at Ford's Theater, plays the titular heroine.

Maryland Ensemble Theatre's (MET) family theatre, The Fun Company, will present the final show of its 2013-14 season, the World Premiere of The Star Stealer. Written by MET ensemble member, Caitlin Joy, and directed by fellow ensemble member Vanessa Strickland, the show hopes to capture audiences by creating entire universes out of only 6 actors and a collection of objects. The playwright is excited to share her new work; 'Vanessa has a fantastic vision for this show and the cast and crew are top notch, so it's bound to be a great performance. The laughs and the lessons are for audiences of all ages. And live theatre is always its own adventure!' The show will run from today, June 7 through June 29 at MET.

Time travel might not be first thing that comes to mind when people think of manners; usually it's more like which fork to use when. But, in Glass Mind's production of RSVP, based on Emily Post's Etiquette, you can expect that combination. Director Ann Turiano, who is also leading the cast in the devising process, uses time travel to go back and forth between 1922 and 2014 to look at different ideas of acceptable behavior in the two different eras.

Miss Coulson has just been cast as Amaryllis in Rockville Musical Theatre's upcoming production of The Music Man in July.

Iron Crow Theatre Company presents Bareback Ink. A mysterious, powerful man commissions an isolated and withdrawn tattoo artist to create a large work of 'ink' on the back of his beautiful, restless boy-toy. Greek mythology serves as inspiration for this modern, erotic tale of desire and possession. An earlier version of this piece was seen at the Capitol Fringe and the Edinburgh Fringe in 2012. Now, playwright Bob Bartlett teams up with Iron Crow to workshop the play and take it to even more dangerous places.
